In May 2001, I pictured the Graces individually. Here, a study that includes all three.

November 30, 2011 I blogged the squid Loligopsis Veranii. Then I wanted to retry the subject in a dotted style. This is more similar to how it  was originally done in 1851 by Jean Baptiste Vérany, published his “Mollusques méditeranéens” (plate # 38).

I wanted a painting of a specific size for a special place on my wall. In that sense, I needed a piece of furniture, to blend in with its environment. Here it is.

One more swarm of jellyfish - now it is the Barrel Jellyfish (Rhizostoma)

Souvenir de France

When in France in June, 

I found this glass jellyfish

 in a souvernir shop in Blois

(Loire valley). 

The shop assistant told 

that it was of Chinese make.

Swarm of Moon Jellyfish II

Earlier I showed a swarm of moon jellyfish. Here I get back at this fascinating subject.
Abundance of life in a jellyfish bloom is a beauty.

Eerder liet ik een zwerm oorkwallen zien. Hier herneem ik dat fascinerende onderwerp. 

Overdaad aan leven in een bloei van kwallen is prachtig.
