Precious coral / Bloedkoraal

Previous blog messages dealt with the organ pipe coral. In 2008 however, I studied model 5, Corallium rubrum, commonly known as  the “precious coral”. I will certainly get back at this subject  in the next posts. The Blaschka model came as a series of two parts: (1) the colony and (2) an enlargement of the tentacles.

Eerdere blogberichten gingen over het orgelpijpkoraal. Maar in 2008 studeerde ik op model 5, Corallium rubrum, algemeen bekend als het “bloedkoraal”. In volgende afleveringen kom ik zeker op dit onderwerp terug.  he tmodel door Blaschka werd in twee delen geleverd: (1) de kolonie en (2) een vergroting van de tentakels.
